Another coaching honor for UMaine's Jack Cosgrove - the American Football Coaches Association Region 1 Co-Coach of the Year. He shares the award with Fordham coach Joe Moorhead.

The AFCA recognizes coaches in five regions around the country. Cosgrove has already won the CAA top coach award as well as the New England Football Writers Association coach award. He is also a finalist for the national Eddie Robinson FCS national coach of the year award, to be given out on December 16th.

Cosgrove has been UMaine coach for 21 years. His team went 10-2 (7-1 CAA) during the regular season. UNH beat the Bears 41-27 last Saturday in the second round of the FCS playoffs.
