The Windham Eagles hit 10 three-pointers in a 73-63 victory over the Bangor Rams in a boys' basketball match-up in Class AA on Friday night.

Nick Curtis lead all scorers in the contest with 30 points, including five three-pointers, and hitting nine out of ten free throws.  Mike Gilman also scored 25 points for the Eagles before fouling out of the contest in the fourth quarter.  Bangor was led by Matt Fleming who logged a double-double with 29 points and 13-13 from the free throw line.

The contest was back and forth for much of the first half, with Windham leading by just two and four at the end of the first and second quarters of play respectively from Bangor High School.  The Eagles came out of the halftime break and outscored the Rams 20-10 in the next eight minutes.  Fleming, who notched 19 points in the first half, had just just two field goals in the second half as the Eagles kept the advantage for the win.

With the victory, Windham moves to 2-1 and will host Noble on Tuesday, while the Rams drop to 1-1 on the year and will face Brewer on Tuesday as well.
