Husson Athletics

It’s Husson University vs UMaine Farmington for the NAC championship and the right to play in the NCAA Divison-3 tournament. The Eagles and Beavers scored semi-final wins Friday night to punch their ticket to title day.

Husson scored a 93-76 win over Lyndon State and UMF knocked off Castleton 107-97.

The Eagles showed the balanced scoring they have had all year, five players in double digits. The Beavers got 21 points and 16 rebounds from Ben Johnson.

Husson enters today’s championship game at 25-2. UMaine Farmington is 13-14.

On the women’s side of the NAC playoffs, Husson lost to Castleton, MMA lost to Colby-Sawyer. That means the Spartans and Chargers meet for the championship.
