East Teams Sweep Field Hockey

It was a clean sweep for Eastern Maine teams in high school field hockey. Skowhegan, Nokomis and Foxcroft Academy took home titles. For Skowhegan it has become common practice.

The Indians claimed their 12th Class A state champpionship in the last 13 years. This time, a 4-1 win over Scarborough.

Class B goes to Nokomis, the Warriors beat York 1-0.

And in Class C, Foxcroft Academy defeated NYA 1-0.

It's the first Eastern Maine sweep in field hockey since 2007.
