Former Red Sox catcher David Ross made his big league pitching debut yesterday. The Cubbies were trailing Milwaukee 12-4 and manager Joe Maddon put Ross on the hill to pitch the last inning.

He retired the Brewers without giving up and hit or run.

Ross signed with Chicago in the off season as the personal catcher for Jon Lester.

Ross was a World Series hero for the Sox in 2013 and Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket brought him to Bangor for an "Evening With David Ross" in January of 2014.
