Falmouth,Camden Hills,St.Dom’s Win States

Bangor HS golfer Drew Powell fired a 72 to record the best score among Class A golfers but his Rams team will have to settle for state runner-up honors. Falmouth's team score was 316. Bangor's total was 323. Gorham was third at 324.

In Class B, the Camden Hills Windjammers take the state title. Daulton Wicke shot a 72 to lead his team to a 321 total. Cape Elizabeth was second. MCI was third.

And in Class C, St.Dom's HS from Lewiston scored a team total of 329. That was one shot better than runner-up Winthrop. Houlton was third.

The championships were played at the Natanis Golf Course in Vassalboro. The state championship individual golf tournament is next Saturday at Natanis.
