Doug Fister pitched a complete game one-hitter while Eduardo Nunez drove in five runs as the Red Sox hammered the Cleveland Indians 9-1. It tied the four game series at 1-1.

Fister was incredible, giving up a home run to Francisco Lindor to lead off the game and then never gave up another hit all nigh. He pitched nine full innings, walking two and striking out six. Fister threw 114 pitches, 72 of them for strikes.

On offense, the Sox pounded out 12 hits. Nunez with two of them, including a three-run homer. Jackie Bradley also hit a home run.

The one negative on the night for the Sox - JBJ slide into home plate and banged up his thumb. X-rays were negative but the team is sending him back to Boston for a MRI today.

The 72-53 Sox send Drew Pomeranz to the mound tonight vs Cleveland's Corey Kluber.
