Husson Softball Pre-Season Choice In NAC

The Husson University softball team is picked as the team to beat in the North Atlantic Conference - again. Afterall, the Eagles are the four time reigning champs.

In the pre-season poll of league coaches, Husson received eight of the nine possible first place votes. Castleton State was picked to finish second.

Thomas College softball was picked to finish third. UMaine Farmington and Maine Maritime Academy tied for the fifth spot.

Coach Amanda Burgoin's Husson squad returns six starters from last year's championship team, including last year's conference rookie of the year Victoria Overlock at third base.

The Eagles begin play Friday March 8th at the NFC tournament in Georgia.
