Kayla Merrill Is NAC Player of Week

Husson senior Kayla Merrill has been named the North Atlantic Conference Player of the Week for her work in the batters box and in the circle.

The Eagles went 5-1 over the week and Merrill batted .545 with 2 HR and 7 RBI.

As a pitcher, Merrill won two games and had a save. She picked up her 200th career strikeout and 30th career win.

It's the second time this spring Merrill has won NAC player of the week honors.

The Eagles are 6-2 in the NAC and 17-9 overall.
