Kinney,Maguire Win PVC Honors

Hermon Hawks coach Matt Kinney has been named PVC Class B coach of the year. Ellsworth's Connor Maguire is PVC player of the year. MDI's Steven Hanscom is PVC pitcher of the year.

Kinney led his Hermon Hawks to a 12-4 record and a #2 seed in the Heal Points in his first year as a high school coach. Kinney moved back to the Bangor area this year after spending several years playing professional ball.

Maguire hit .400 and had 11 stolen bases for the Ellsworth Eagles. He led the PVC in innings pitched with 46 and in strikeouts with 50.

Hanscom had 4 wins for the MDI Trojans and led the PVC in ERA at 0.93.
