Knight, Notre Dame Lose 81-69

Tom Knight and the Notre Dame Irish lost their first ACC tournament game Wednesday afternoon 81-69 to Wake Forest. The loss likely ends the Notre Dame season at 15-17.

Knight is a 5th year senior with the Irish and former Mr. Maine Basketball Award winner at Dirigo HS in 2009. He did not score in 10 minutes of action against the Deacons.

Knight is one of four seniors on the Irish roster. He has played in 99 games for Notre Dame.

Wake Forest shot 61% against the Irish defense with Coron Williams scoring a season best 25 points. The Deacons meet Pitt in the next round of the ACC tourney.
