Mallett, Tebow Lead Pats Over Giants [VIDEO]

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady never stepped on the field after pregame warmups in the final preseason game and was not needed as the Pats beat the Giants 28-20.Along with Tom Brady, nearly all starters on both offense and defense were given the night off. Ryan Mallet started the game under center and went 10-16 for 117 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception while playing the entire first half. Tim Tebow played the second half completing 6 of 11 passes for 91 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.

Rookie wide receiver Quentin Simms caught 3 passes, 2 of them for touchdowns and 72 yards.
