Papi,Victorino Beards Auction Hit

Remember when David Ortiz and Shane Victorino went to Gillette Stadium after the World Series and had their beards shaved for charity? Well, the on-line auction is over and Big Papi hairball ended going for almost $11,000 and Victorino’s went for close to $3,700.

The auction ended on the last day of November and the winning bid from a unknown bidder was for $10,877.77. The winner gets the hair, the razor used to shave the beard and an Ortiz autograph.

Victorino’s beard went for $3,750.69.

All money raised goes to cancer research charities.
