For the fourth time in the last six years the New England Patriots will have joint practices with the New Orleans Saints. There will be a practice today and tomorrow and then the Pats and Saints play their first exhibition game Thursday night.

Today's joint practice is scheduled for 9:15am.

Coach Bill Belichick likes the joint practices because he likes to see other schemes and matchups. He also admits it cuts down on injuries with only 11 players on the field instead of 22.

NOTE: Thursday's exhibition game vs the Saints is live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket. Pre-game coverage begins at 4:30pm
