Mother Nature has delayed the final week of the high school baseball and softball regular season as several key match-ups have been postponed to today. The top four teams in Eastern Maine class A baseball were supposed to play Monday with #1 Bangor facing #2 Edwards Little at 4:15pm and #3 Messalonskee at #4 Brewer at 6pm. Those games will now be played today at the same times whether permitting.

You can hear live coverage of Brewer and Messalonskee on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket and 9292theticket.com with a 6pm first pitch Tuesday.

Brewer fell to the Eagles in their first meeting this season 9-1, a win today could move them up a spot in the standings. The Witches enter the game after winning their last time out against Hampden.

Bangor has just two losses this season and one of them was to the Red Eddies back in April. The Rams come in riding an 8-game winning streak and a win will keep them in the top spot.

Edward Little is 12-3 this season and have won 9 straight games with 4 of those wins by way of a shutout.

Here is a look at the current heal point standings entering the final few days of the regular season.
