What a game between the Bangor and Brewer boys Monday night.

The Rams opened up a 15 point lead. Brewer came all the way back and took a two point lead, only to have the Rams go on a late run and win 54-45.

Bangor bolted out to a 17-6 lead after one quarter with Sam Martin and Andrew Szwez combining to score 11 of the points.

Brewer's Dylan Huff and Kyle Goodrich combined for 13 second quarter points to bring the Witches within nine at the half.

By the time the fourth quarter rolled around, Brewer got on a roll. Aaron Newcomb hit on three three-pointers and the Witches led 44-42 briefly.

The Rams ended the game on a 12-1 run, hitting on free throws down the stretch.

Henry Westrich led Bangor with 19. Sam Martin had 16 and 11 rebounds.

Trevor Pearson had 11 and Newcomb had 10 for Brewer.

The Rams improve to 11-3. The Witches drop to 10-6.
