The Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays will play a day-night doubleheader today after last night's game got rained out. Apparently the Rays are not happy about playing two games today.

Jake Peavy and Cesar Ramos pitch game one at 1pm. Felix Doubront vs Chris Archer in the 7pm game.

Rays player rep Ben Zobrist balked at the day-night schedule and took complaints to union chief Tony Clark. The fact that his team has three starting pitchers on the DL could be a factor as well. He wanted to make up the game on a mutual off day in September.

The Red Sox did not want to do that because they would be coming off a 10 game roadtrip on September 22 and it would take away the final off day of the season.
