The good news - the Celtics beat Miami in double overtime...The bad news - Rajon Rondo is out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL in his knee.

The Celtics made the announcement on Rondo's injury during the second half of the Miami game. Rondo hurt the knee in the Atlanta game Friday night. It was thought he just hyper-extended it but after the pre-game shootaround before the Heat game Rondo immediately left Boston Garden to have an MRI.

As for the game, Paul Pierce had a triple-double, 17 points, 13 rebounds, 10 assists as the C's beat Ray Allen and Miami 100-98 in 2 overtimes. It breaks a six game Celtics losing streak.
