Former Red Sox center fielder and World Series champion Johnny Damon will have to leave his (very cool) home in Florida to come up to Bangor next month.

Although we know he's excited to come and talk baseball with all of you at the Gracie Theatre on Jan. 15, we thought we'd give you a look inside his house in this short video about what home means to him.

In the video, you can see a bunch of Damon's baseball memorabilia from his days with the Sox as well as all the base he earned by hitting his 500th double in 2011 while with the Tampa Bay Rays. With that hit, he became only the 11th player with 500 doubles, 100 triples, 200 homers and 2,500 hits.

You can see Damon when he comes to Bangor for "Allenfarm Fence Co's An Evening with Johnny Damon."

VIP tickets are already sold out. Sorry. But there are some general admission tickets available for those of you who want to come out to see one of the original "idiots" who helped break the 86-year curse and take home a World Series trophy in 2004.

It's going to be a great evening of baseball talk with one of the pivotal players on that magical team. We'll see you there.
