It was just an exhibition game but the U.S. National Under-18 Team beat the UMaine Black Bears 6-4 last night in Plymouth, Michigan.

It's no suprise this group of talented U.S. players beat the Bears. Team USA is 18-5-2 overall and 5-4 vs college teams.

USA's Cole Caufield scored two goals.

Maine got goals for Sam Decker, Eduards Tralmaks, Alex Binner and Jack Quinlivan.

Black Bears goalies Stephen Mundinger and Rob McGovern split minutes in net, stopping 32 shots.

NOTE: The Black Bears are now off until December 28th when they play at Princeton.
