Workman, Owens To Pitch Vs Northeastern

The Boston Red Sox will start playing against another team starting tomorrow, albeit Boston College and Northeastern University. Promising righthander Brandon Workman has been named to pitch the first two innings, followed by lefty Henry Owens.

Rubby De La Rosa and Matt Barnes are also scheduled to pitch a couple of innings against the college teams.

Position players scheduled to play some innings include Xander Bogaerts, Dustin Pedroia, Will Middlebrooks, Mike Napoli and Grady Sizemore.

Anthony Ranaudo will start for the Sox against Minnesota on Friday in the big league pre-season opener.
