Brad Marchand scored with 57 seconds left in overtime to give the Boston Bruins a 2-1 victory over the Colorado Avalanche at TD Garden on Sunday.

Marchand scored on a wrist shot from the high slot.

John Moore scored the Bruins' lone regulation goal, while Jaroslav Halak made 35 saves for Boston.

Nathan MacKinnon had Colorado’s only goal, and Semyon Varlamov made 34 saves.

The Avalanche have now lost seven straight, while the Bruins have won four of their last five.

The Bruins improved to 31-17-8, and the Avalanche dropped to 22-22-11.
