At his Wednesday press conference in Foxboro, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady said "losing is a quality of life issue around here". He had a grin on his face as he said it, but it is clear the opening day loss at Miami did not sit well around Pats land.

"We're a long way from where this team is going to be. We hate losing. It's a terrible feeling. It's a terrible feeling around here. Hopefully it motivates us to go out there and have a great week of practice," said Brady.

When asked about former teammate and now starting MInnesota QB Matt Cassell, Brady said, "He's always been one of my great friends, he's just a special guy. I'm happy for him and all he has accomplished. But I hope we beat him up this week...it's just the way it goes."
