The lawyers for former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez were back in court today asking that the murder charges against Hernandez related to the death of Odin Lloyd be dropped.

The attorneys also asked the judge to throw out the surveillance video from Hernandez' home because police did not have probable cause to obtain and search warrant. That video apparently shows Hernandez carrying a gun the night of the murder.

The prosecution fought all arguments.

The judge took the motions under advisement and said a ruling would be issued at a later date.

Also in court, Hernandez pleaded not guilty to charges of assaulting an inmate and threatening a guard.
