No Kyrie Irving. No problem. At least for one night. The Boston Celtics beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 115-102 Wednesday night at Boston Garden.

Irving was not in the lineup because of an eye injury sustained in the San Antonio game.

But Gordon Hayward picked up the slack, scoring 35 points in his best performance in a Celtics uniform. He was 14-for-18 shooting from the floor.

Terry Rozier had 16 points and five assists as a starter for Irving.

Andrew Wiggins had 31 for the T-Wolves.

The Celtics are now 22-15 with the Dallas Mavs coming to town Friday night.
