BREAKING NEWS: The Boston Bruins got some bad news today. Leading scorer David Pastrnak will be out at least two weeks with a thumb injury.

And, what's more, the injury did not happen in a game or practice.

It happened Sunday night after attending a sponsorship dinner. He apparently fell on the way to his car and injured his left thumb.

GM Don Sweeney held a press conference today at Boston Garden to explain...

Pastrnak has 31 goals and 35 assists for 66 points in 56 games this season. That is 9th best in the NHL.

The Bruins play Chicago tonight at the Garden before leaving on a five game west coast trip.
