The Boston Bruins go into a five-day bye week losing in overtime, 6-5, to the Pittsburgh Penquins. The Sunday night game went back and forth for almost 63 minutes.

In the first period, after Ryan Spooner scored to give the B's a lead, the Pens scored the next three to grab the 3-1 lead after one.

In the second period, the Bruins got four straight goals - from Brad Marchand, Noel Acciari, David Pastrnak and David Backes to take a 5-3 lead.

Then Pittsburgh scored two goals to tie the game and send it to overtime.

At 2:51 of OT, Evgeni Malkin beat Tuukka Rask for the win.

The Bruins do get a point in the standings for going to overtime. They are now 8-0-3 in their last 11 games. (23-10-7).

The NHL is giving every team a five-day bye week this season and the B's start their break today, off now until a game with Montreal Saturday night.
