For the second straight night, the Red Sox came behind late in the game to score a win. This time, a 9-4 win over the Chicago White Sox.

Trailing 4-0 into the 7th inning, the Sox scored four times to tie the game.

Then in the 9th, they scored five more times to put away Chicago.

The comeback win, combined with another Yankee loss, means the Red Sox have an 8.5 lead in the AL East.

Mookie Betts and J.D> Martinez were both part of the Sox comeback with home runs. Ian Kinsler had three hits. And, Jackie Bradley Jr. had a key hit and two RBI.

On the downside, Rick Porcello struggled again. He lasted just five innings, giving up four runs, eight hits and three walks.

Four different pitchers out of the bullpen held down the fort. Ryan Brasier got credit for the win.
