The Boston Celtics NBA Summer League team will be the #1 seed in the eight team playoff round that begins Saturday in Las Vegas. The C's finished the week with a 4-0 record.

Second round draft pick Carsen Edwards (Purdue) has led the Celtics in scoring at 23 PPG.  Grant Williams (Tennessee), a first round pick, is second in scoring at 13.5 PPG.

Fan favorite, 7-foot-6 Tacko Fall (UCF), is scoring 8.5 points and grabbing 4.5 rebounds in 14 minutes per game.

Celtics coach Brad Stevens likes what he sees.

NOTE: Former Messalonskee HS standout, Nick Mayo and his Miami Heat team will be the #5 seed. It means if both the Celtics and Heat win, Mayo meets the Celtics on Sunday night....Mayo played in three of the four Heat games and averaged 11.3 PPG and 3.3 RPG in just under 23 minutes per game. He leads the team in shooting at 61%.
