Add Youk To NYY Injured List

Red Sox fans might say "told you so"... Kevin Youkilis is headed to the Yankees disabled list with back problems.

It is being called a lumbar spine sprain and now the former Sox third baseman will be out until mid-May, at least. Youk was hitting .266 with 2 HR and 7 RBI. He missed 8 of the last 9 Yankee games.

He joins a long list of injured Yankee players, including Derek Jeter, A-Rod, Mark Texeira and Curtis Granderson.

Despite the problems the New Yorkers are 16-10.
