The Old Town Coyotes picked up their fifth win of the season, taking a road win at Hermon 53-48. Eight different players scored points as the Coyotes improve to 5-3. Hermon drops to 3-3.

After a close first half, Old Town went on a 13-2 scoring run in the third quarter. The Coyotes controlled the rebounding department and their trapping zone defense gave the Hawks fits all night.

Eric Hoogterp scored 16 and Mitchell Cole had 10 to lead Old Town.

Tyler Thayer scored 23 of Hermon's 38 points.

Perhaps the biggest story in Class B from Thursday night - Caribou lost for the first time and that means there are no undefeated teams left in Eastern Maine Class B. The Vikings lost to Class C Houlton 49-47. That makes Caribou 6-1 and Houlton is the top team in Class C with an 8-0 mark.
