UMaine baseball's season ended with a thud Friday afternoon. An 11-2 loss to the Hartford Hawks at the America East Tournament in Massachusetts.

The Black Bears and Hawks were playing an elimination game and got off to a rough start, giving up six runs in the first three innings.

The Hawks got ahead 8-0 before the Bears scored twice in the sixth. A Luke Morrill single scored two runs.

But Hartford would tack on three more runs for the 11-2 final score.

Maine's season ends at 24-28.

Hartford, Stony Brook and UMBC are the three teams still alive for the AE title.
