A second hearing in front of New York Judge Richard Berman today, without QB Tom Brady and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

At the start of today's proceedings, Judge Berman ordered Brady and Goodell to return to court on August 31st at 11am if no settlement is reached before then.

He also told lawyers that a September 4th decision by him 'would be a quick turnaround for him' and 'not to hold me to it'.

After settlement talks went nowhere yesterday, Brady decided to go to Patriots joint practices with the Saints being held in West Virginia.
