UMaine hockey's final weekend of home play begins with a 6-4 to the Merrimack Warriors.

After swapping goals early in the Friday night game, Merrimack went on to score the next four goals. The Warriors led 5-1 but Maine got two powerplay goals from Will Merchant late in the second period to make it close.

Early in the third, Eric Schurhamer scored and it was a one goal game at 5-4.

Maine could never get closer. The Warriors added a empty net tally to win it 6-4.

Matt Morris made 11 saves when he replaced Rob McGovern in goal. McGovern had 14.

Collin Delia made 26 for Merrimack.

The Black Bears fall to 4-13-2 in Hockey East, 7-20-6 overall..

The final home game is tonight at Alfond Arena.
