You won't see former Mt.Ararat HS pitcher Mark Rogers throwing in the bigs any time soon. The Milwaukee Brewers have transferred him from the 15-day to 60-day DL.

The Brewers needed a spot on their 40 man roster and decided to make the move with Rogers. He is back in Phoenix trying to build up shoulder strength. Earlier in the month, Rogers had a minor league rehab assignment cut short because of arm discomfort. The Brewers say a MRI revealed no definite answers.

Rogers was the #5 overall pick in the MLB draft back in 2004. He has had a myriad of arm issues.
