Irving, Bulldogs Vs Hampden On 92.9 The Ticket

Nia Irving and the Lawrence Bulldogs bring their undefeated record to Hampden tonight for a Class A North battle. The game is live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket and 929theticket.com.

The 6-foot-1 senior Irving just might be the best schoolgirl player in Maine. She Boston University bound next year and is coming off a 35 point / 25 rebound performance against Messalonskee earlier in the week. That win makes the Bulldogs 11-0. Lawrence is the defending Class A champ, winning their first title since the Cindy Blodgett days a year ago.

The Hampden Broncos enter tonight's game with a 7-3 record. That's good for #4 in Class A. Coach Tim Scott's team is young...really young. 11 of the 13 players on the roster are either freshman or sophomores.

The teams met back on December 22nd in Fairfield and Lawrence won 64-47.
