MacLean: A Record Breaker!

Bangor HS senior Grace MacLean broke a 27-year PVC/EMITL record in the high jump (5 feet 6-inches) in the second week of the indoor track season.. Kim Hamm had held the record distance since 1986 (5-5).

MacLean also won the 55 hurdle and long jump event during the competition. And during a live interview Monday morning on 92.9TheTicket MacLean said she might try the some running events in the coming weeks.

She already won All-American honors as a soccer player this fall for Bangor. Her plan is attend UMaine in the fall and player soccer for coach Scott Atherley.
