In Castine, coach Chris McKenney's Mariners are coming off a 3-6 season (2-5 NEFC).

MMA features a punishing rushing offense and leading runner James Ferrar returns for his junior year. He averaged 108 yards a game last fall(972 total yards), scoring seven TDs. He was named first team all-conference.

The Mariners open their season with a home game, September 3rd vs Maritime(NY).
