NCAA Bound Husson Field Hockey To Play Babson

The Husson Eagles field hockey team punched its ticket to the NCAA Division III playoffs with a conference championship win Saturday and now the Eagles know their opponent will be Babson College.

It's a 24 team field that will play for the national championship.

The (12-5) Eagles will travel to (17-4) Babson on Wednesday. The Beavers got an at large bid after losing in the NEWMAC championship game to MIT.

Sabrina Smith, a former standout player at Nokomis HS and at Husson, is in her first year as head coach of Eagles field hockey.
