And a second question for Boston Celtics fans - will he be available to pick when it's the C's turn to select. Remember, the Celts have the Brooklyn's #1 pick which could be a lottery pick.

Simmons is 6-foot-10 and from Australia. Many basketball observers think he's the most talented player to come along in years.

He averaged 19 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for LSU. The Tigers went 19-14 and when the NCAA did not select LSU for the tournament, the school decided to withdraw from any NIT bid.

The NBA draft lottery is May 17th and the draft itself is June 23rd.
