Sox Trade For OF Rajai Davis

It's not exactly like the Celtics trading for Kyrie Irving but the Red Sox acquired outfielder Rajai Davis from the Oakland A's tonight.

The Sox send minor league OF Rafael Rincones to Oakland.

Davis will come in as Jackie Bradley Jr. spends some time on the disabled list with that thumb injury.

He is now 36-years-old but has always been known as a base stealer. Davis has 26 steals while hitting .233 for the A's in 73 games. The 26 steals in 4th in the American League.

Boston will be his seventh team.
