Steward’s 5 RBI Leads Broncos

  The Hampden Broncos took advantage of 4 Lewiston errors combined with 8 hits to beat the Blue Devils 11-4 in the quarterfinals.Logan Steward led the offense with 3 hits including a homerun and 5 runs batted in while Matt Closson added 2 hits and 3 rbi. Matt Martin pitched the first 5 innings to get the win on the mound.

The win improves the Broncos to 14-2, Lewiston finishes the season at 10-7. Next up for Hampden is a semifinal match up with Messalonskee on Saturday.
