UMaine basketball kept getting down by double digits to UNH and then kept fighting back. But in the end, the Black Bears could never catch the Wildcats and lost 63-58 at the Cross Center.

Neither team shot very well - Maine at 33%, UNH just under 40%. But the Wildcats did collect more rebounds 47 to 34.

UNH built up a double digit lead in the first half and Maine came back to make it 23-20 at the half.

Same thing in the second half, the Bears got down 16 points and battled back.

Kevin Little led UM in scoring with 22 points.

Jaleen Smith led UNH with 14. Tanner Leissner had 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Maine falls to 1-7 in America East, 2-19 overall.

UNH is on a 4-game winning streak, now 5-3 in AE, 12-9 overall.
