The University of Southern Maine and St. Joseph's baseball teams met on the diamond last week for the one-and-only time this spring. Now, the two team are battling for top spot in the regional polls.

In the New England D III poll, the Huskies have jumped the Monks in this week's poll but in the D3baseball.com national poll St. Joes continues ahead of USM.
