Wyman Takes Maine Amateur Lead At 7-Under [SCORES]

Jack Wyman, who plays out of the Portland Country Club, has taken over the second round lead at the Maine Amateur Golf Championship.

Wyman blistered the Brunswick GC course with six birdies on the front nine and finished with a 4-under 68 score. His two-day total of 137 is 7-under par.

Former Husson University golfer Joe Alvarez is 4-under par through two rounds.

First round leader, Sam Grindle from Deer Isle shot a 2-over par 74 and his two-day total is 142. Three-time champ Ricky Jones is also at 142.

The top 40 scores and ties are competing in today's third and final round.
