Maine Drug Enforcement agents arrested 3 people in Lewiston on drug trafficking and firearm charges. For the past month, MDEA Western District Task Force agents have been investigating the sale of heroin, crack cocaine and prescription medications throughout Greater Lewiston-Auburn. 
Late Sunday afternoon, agents observed a drug transaction inside a vehicle parked on Sabattus Street. Agents detained Matthew Mennealy, 33 of Auburn, Kayla Fraser, 25 of Auburn, and Gregory St. Pierre, 35 of Lewiston, who were all inside the vehicle. Upon searching the vehcile agents found crack cocaine, Oxycodone pills, heroin, fentanyl, and prescription medication packaged for resale, and also a loaded handgun. The trio were taken into custody and arrested.
 
Seized from Mennealy’s and Fraser’s residence on Hatch Road in Auburn were approximately 52 grams of crack cocaine, 83 grams of cocaine HCL, 70 grams of heroin, 33 grams of fentanyl, 126 Oxycodone pills, digital scales, and five guns. The street value of the seized drugs is $60,000.
 
Mennealy, Fraser, and St. Pierre were transported to the Androscoggin County Jail without incident. All 3 had an initial court appearance Tuesday in Lewiston District Court. Bail was set for Mennealy at $50,000 cash, Fraser at $2,000 cash, and St. Pierre at $250 cash.
 
This investigation was conducted with the assistance of State Police, and officers from the Lewiston and Auburn Police Departments. The trio faces the following charges:
