Celtics center Aron Baynes exited Wednesday night's 118-115 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers due to injury, and according to coach Brad Stevens, the 6-foot-10, 250-pounder suffered a grade 2 ankle sprain.

"What that means, medically, I have no idea," said Stevens.

The injury occurred in the 2nd quarter as Baynes tried to defend a T.J. McConnell drive to the basket.

The injury was a big blow to the Celtics' defense, which struggled to contain 76ers big man Joel Embiid, who scored 37 points and collected 22 rebounds.

The Australian big man has struggled to stay healthy this season, missing 29 games due to various injuries.
