Andrew Benintendi blasted two three-run home runs and Drew Pomeranz pitched into the 7th inning as the Red Sox scored a 10-5 bounce back win over the NY Yankees.

Benintendi hit his homers in the 3rd and 5th innings. Both innings were five run innings for the Sox off one of the league's best pitchers, Luis Severino.

Pomeranz gave up just three runs in 6.2 innings to go 12-4 on the season.

The (66-50) Sox get back their 4.5 game lead over the Yanks in the AL East and have Chris Sale ready to pitch in the Sunday night game.
