Xander Bogaerts ripped his 10th home run of the season and lefty David Price continued to deal from the hill as the Red Sox won 2-1 in Seattle late last night.

The win is the 48th of the season (48-22) for the Sox and that is tops in baseball.

Bogaerts hit his go ahead homer in the 6th inning to break a 1-1 tie. He was one of four Sox players with two hits.

Jackie Bradley Jr drove in the other Sox run.

Meanwhile, David Price is on a roll. Seven innings of work, giving up one run of just five hits. He did not walk anyone and struck out seven. Price has now won six straight games and is 8-4.

The Sox have won four games in a row and the second game of this series is tonight. Live coverage on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket begins at 9:25pm.
