The Boston Bruins four game winning streak came to a screeching halt last night in Edmonton. The Oilers pounded the B's 7-4 and that was with no goals from super rookie Connor McDavid.

Just over eight minutes into the game the Bruins were down 3-0 only to come back and make it 3-2 on goals from Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak.

But after another late period Oilers goal and another one early in the second period, Tuukka Rask was sent to the showers. Five goals on 12 shots.

It never felt like the Bruins got back in this one.

So they settle for a 2-1 trip through Canada and sit with a 38-27-6 record.

A big matchup with Toronto is next on the schedule Monday night.
